Earlier this week, Derek spoke about the amazing possibilities that the Lakers have this season, and Sunday night, they took a step toward realizing them.

“I feel like as a team we have a great opportunity.” Derek told the Los Angeles Times. “I feel like individually I can help the team take advantage of the opportunity.”

No. 2 ended the night with 9 points and 3 rebounds in limited minutes.
